China Poot Bay

One fine morning Cousin Priscilla invited us to join her on an excursion across Kachemak Bay to China Poot Bay (lots of bays around here) for salmon fishing. Sadly, Priscilla's nickname is Nokatchemfish and hence, we caught no fish. But, we had tons of fun none the less.

We arrived at low tide and got to play on the mud flats for hours and explore many new and interesting things.

THE MISADVENTURE OF SHERRIE...
SO, Sherrie decided to go chasing after a crab and into a sink-hole she fell. Now, as she was wearing her trusty rain boots this shouldn't have been a problem, but of course it was just deep enough to completely immerse her boots in the hole. And as if it couldn't get any worse, she let the crab escape!

Sherrie's Bare and Wet Feet

To aid in the drying of Sherrie's socks, P.K. and Page volunteered to build a fire. What follows are the documentaries of our time on the shores of China Poot.
